Brock receives Pushcart Prize

Geoff Brock has received a Pushcart Prize for his poem "Daddy: 1933," which appears in Pushcart Prize XXXIV: Best of the Small Presses, out this month. The poem originally appeared in the June 2008 issue of Poetry and can be read here.

The Pushcart Prize anthologies have been published annually since the mid-1970s to honor the best poetry and short fiction of the preceding year. Michael Heffernan, Skip Hays, Molly Giles, and Ellen Gilchrist have appeared in earlier volumes.
