Hayden's Ferry Review features a commentary by third-year student Chris Tamigi on its website, about the resonances and removes that create tension in literary translation. Chris' translation of "Impure Acts" by author Mauro Covacich appeared in issue 55 of the journal.

Wright Nominated for Best Translated Book
Congratulations to alum C.D. Wright (1976) who, along with A.S. Zelman-Doring and Forrest Gander, has been nominated for the 2015 Best Translated Book Award for their translation of Rain of the Future, by poet Valerie Mejer. You can see all of the nominated books here.
